Since Thanksgiving is coming up at the end of the month here in the States, some place card projects are in order. These mini potted topiaries for Project Wedding fit the bill, and of course can also function as escort cards and favors. Find full instructions at Project Wedding. I added an extra autumnal touch by gilding the mini terracotta pots with a gold leaf kit (available at craft stores for around $8) before beginning the project.

These are pretty for your table and can transition later onto your mantle for festive little Christmas trees. They are great looking when grouped. I have some sterling baby cups that make great topiary holders. I like to use something old for part of the project...
Looks lovely : )
Adorable!!
so sweet. why is everything cuter in miniature?

What a great idea. Love them.
I love topiaries. But, to put them as a place setting decor is genius!

Just stumbled upon your beautiful blog. I love the pictures. May I ask where you find the fonts that you use on many of your pictures?
Really cute. I like. The placemats are pretty too.
Very creative.

love those they are really cute
aww those are so cute! i've never seen them so little. thanks for sharing.
I really like the color of them, that muted down almost brownish moss color, instead of the more brighter shade of green that most people are using to make these. And the size is adorable! Everything is more cute when miniaturized!
These are adorable! Love the gold color!
I love your blog, very creative and your photos are awesome =)
